Hunting: Last Tuesday, I spent part of the day shooting Prairie Poodles just north of Spearfish, SD. Because it had rained a lot before we went out, the only why we could get into the fields was to use a couple of Yamaha Rhino’s. Fishing: With fuel costs being so high, we kinda decided we would have to limit the majority of our fishing trips to waters that are close by the house this year. Shooting: Well, since I fire-formed all my new Remington .30-30 Winchester Brass into 7-30 Waters Brass over the weekend I decided I needed to work up a good load for Deer Hunting this year.

The choice of bullet was easy, as I have had experience with the 120gr. Nosler Ballistic Tips in a previous 7-30 Waters.......(more)
